Jaclyn Downs is a Certified Holistic Health Coach from Lancaster that works with women and/or their partners to help them achieve balance in their bodies so they can successfully and healthfully get pregnant and have an optimally nourished pregnancy and child. Prior to becoming a Certified Health Coach, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Drexel University, and later studied Holistic Nutrition in graduate school for two years. She also has a great deal of hands-on experience working with clients in the realm of health and wellness, as she is a Certified Yoga Instructor at the 200-hour level, a Certified Pre-Natal/Postpartum Yoga Instructor, a Certified Labor Assistant/Doula and is a PBi Placenta Encapsulation Specialist. She also has apprenticed with a homebirth midwife for over four years. During those four years, Jaclyn attended over 100 births; provided nutritional counseling to infertile couples; offered pre- and post-natal education and nutrition; and addressed healthier eating habits to provide relief to children with allergies, food sensitivities, and attention disorders.
She is based in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, but is able to work with clients all over the country and world via phone and Skype!
Susan Wenger is a doula whose interest in birth work was sparked by her large, vibrant family and having a grandmother who was a midwife. She grew up surrounded by children and birth stories. Susan has since gained expertise through birth Doula training with CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association), participation in local Doula networks, continuing education and attending births.
Claire Smith is a Mother, Birth Doula, and a self-proclaimed cloth diaper expert. Claire is a PBi Placenta Encapsulation Specialist. She is also attuned to Level II in Reiki.
